Sizing
We recommend 6' Sombreros for rafts 14' and under so your Sombrero can comfortably fold onto the back of your raft without overhanging. 8' lengths provide more shade for longer rafts. The folded-down lengths are 64" from the mounting point for 6' Sombreros and 74" for 8' Sombreros. Mounting points are typically 6-8" behind the oar locks. To select the width, measure center point to center point for frame mounting or just inside your oar locks for deck or slide track mounting. Everyone's setup is a little different, so we recommend checking yours to find the size that fits your raft. See Choosing a Sombrero for more help with sizing.

Aluminum Frame Mount Kit
Aluminum frame mounts are bomber stiff and strong. Made in
Durango, CO from solid aluminum machined to perfectly fit the contour of your
frame. Sold as pairs with
stainless steel hardware. 1 5/8" fits NRS and similar, and 2" fits Down River and expedition frames.
